Want to build your own cabin? Altogether, we are selling 52 plots of land at Standaleidet, spread out over zones F1,F2,F3,F4 and F5. The plot sizes range between 782 and 1449 sq.metres (8417 and 15597 sq.feet) On the plot plans at the bottom of this page, you can get an overview of the plot locations and size.

The plots are situated in practical surroundings on south facing terrain which follows the natural moraines. Here you will find a view that is hard to beat anywhere! Many say that the Sunnmøre Alps are the best fjords and mountains we have to offer in the country and Standaleidet can be considered to be the "Crown Jewel" of this area!

Regulations

The area of the “footprint” of the building (+ 18m2 for parking) is not to exceed 15% of the area of each plot and max 200m2. Max height from the top of the foundation to the ridge of the roof is not to exceed 5,5m. For sites in F1-F4 however, 1/3 of the length of the ridge of the roof can be made into a raised loft (dormer room) with a height of 7,5m from the top of the foundation to the ridge of the raised loft (dormer room) roof.

For buildings without dormer rooms, it may be permitted to have a basement floor (above terrain in front / under terrain at rear) underneath the ground floor, if the slope of the site is suitable. The buildings are to be primarily roofed with turf. All buildings are to be painted in traditional dark colours.

The contractors can build different types of cabins for you, but you decide when and who is to build your cabin - there is no obligation to use our contractor.

Electricity, water, sewerage as well as empty pipes for later use for antenna-/communication-cables will be available at the perimeter of the plot. It is assumed that optical fibre cables to each cabin will be offered in a couple of years.
