Skiing is one of the most popular activities and the destinations are usually the peaks.

It's exhausting, but the greatest reward is the downhill stretch in untouched snow. "Standalrennet" (The Standal Run), is arranged every year, this year on the 21st april - the 66th year of this event. Standalrennet is the final run in the Norwegian Mountain Telemark Cup 2007. Less intense, but just as rewarding, are cross country routes through the mountain vallies. There will also be a 10 km cross country route developed which runs right next to the Cabin Complex. Just step out of the door, put on your skis, and you're ready to go!
