The Sunnmøre Alps, have some of the most beautiful hiking terrain you can find, and Standaleidet is the starting point for many of the most well known peaks in the Sunnmøre Alps. However, you dont have to tour the peaks to get a kick - many of the lower valleys are just as breathtaking. Here you can find hiking possibilities for both young and old for varying levels of experience.

Most of the peaks can be reached without the need for ropes, but there is alslo a rich array of challenges for experienced climbers. For mountain climbers, the most well-known place is Molladalen, with its sharp peaks and numerous routes (Click here for more info on Molladalen )
