There are many visitors every year who come here to fish in the fjord and the salmon rivers in Ørsta and Sæbø.

There are many different types of fish in the fjord - in all shapes and sizes.

What do you say about a Flounder weighing in at 150 kg? This is not unknown for the area.

In the mountain streams and there are many trout, even in the lake right next to the cabin complex.

If you are lucky, you can catch some salmon in Standal river or the fjord. You are certainly guaranteed to go home at the end of the day with a fish!  Off shore fishing trips are available from Ålesund and Fosnavåg (less than an hour away).
